Authorities
There are two state agencies operating under the auspices of the Bavarian State Ministry of the Environment and Consumer Protection: the Bavarian Environment Agency and the Bavarian Health and Food Safety Agency.
The State Ministry furthermore encompasses seven district governments as intermediate authorities, as well as 17 State Offices for Water Management as local authorities.
